Medical emergency personnel are trained to look for an ID during an emergency. If you are unable to speak for yourself, a medical ID bracelet or necklace will speak for you and insure timely, appropriate medical care. When the founder of the Barking Zebra became ill a few years ago, the medics found her medical alert bracelet. It saved her life; since then she's never been without one. STYLE IDEAS Here's a pretty spiffy design recommendation for your bracelet. If you order an ID bracelet (with or without lobster clasps), you can attach a plain heart or round charm (see below left) to display additional information such as your address or even the barking zebra logo on your bracelet. It's all the rage now to have a charm dangling from a bracelet and it adds extra surfaces for engraving. If you order a charm with a lobster clasp, you have the convenience of attaching it to any bracelet.
